WORCESTER-J. Rose (Buyniski) Wondolowski, 90, of Worcester, died Friday, January 23rd in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband, former State Representative Stanislaus G. Wondolowski died in 1977. She is survived by her sister, Irene C. Rice; her nephew Paul B. Rice, both of Worcester and her niece, Diane Waice of Holden.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph P. and Josephine H. (Tralka) Buyniski. In 1940, she was one of four women to graduate from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy; she then worked as a pharmacist in the family owned and operated business, Vernon Drug. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. The family would like to thank Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion.
The funeral is Tuesday, January 27th with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Joseph P. Buyniski Scholarship Fund, c/o the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, 19 Foster Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
