Mary (Roach) Walsh, 88, of Westport passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Kimwell Nursing Home in Fall River. She was wife of the late James J. Walsh.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John J. and Rhea D. (Castonguay) Roach, she had lived in Westport for most of her life. Mrs. Walsh was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport.
Survivors include a son: James J. Walsh, Jr. of Westport; 2 sisters: Estelle Roach of Fall River and Sister Annette Roach, O.P. of Mashpee; a granddaughter: Hannah L. Walsh; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late: John J. Roach, Jr., Rhea Reilly and Claire Bishop.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.

Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
