Chantavy Kachittavong, 52, of Hayes St, Woonsocket, died Monday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Laos, but has been a Woonsocket resident for the last twenty-three years. He and his wife Sarah (Saengsavang) Kachittavong recently celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary.
He was a machine operator for the former ACS Industries of Woonsocket for fifteen years, and General Cable of Franklin for three years until illness forced him into retirement. He was a hard working, dedicated and devoted family man.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two children; Arnold and Judy Kachittavong, both of Woonsocket. His funeral will be held Saturday 9:30 am, from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket. Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 pm.
