Obituary

Worcester—Rose M. (Aboumrad) Wolochowicz, 83, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. Her husband of 51 years, William B. Wolochowicz, died in 1998. She leaves two sons and two daughters—David Wolochowicz and his wife, Mary E., of West Boylston; Stephen P. Wolochowicz and his wife, Dina, of Columbus, NC; Mary Wolochowicz and her husband, William L’Heureux, of W. Springfield; and Nancy M. Peaslee and her husband, Gary, of Sterling. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

Rose Mae was born in Worcester, daughter of Sadie (Esper) and Abraham Aboumrad. She was a member of St. George’s Orthodox Cathedral and a long-time member of the American Business Women’s Assn. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed crafts and puzzles.

Calling hours will be held at NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street, Friday, Jan. 23, from 6-8 pm with a Trisagion Service at 7:30 pm. The funeral service will be private.
