Wright, Isabelle (Davidson) of Hingham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 20, 2009 after a long illness at Harbor House Nursing Home in Hingham. She was 91 years old.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Robert E. Wright of Hingham, her children Robert Wright Jr. of Belize, Joan Ewing of Braintree, Martha and her husband Peter Stamper of Hanover. Also survived by six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Devoted sister of James and his wife Jane Davidson of Florida.
Isabelle was raised in Somerville and lived in Hingham for 25 years before retiring to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Avid golfer and long time member of Cohasset Golf Course, Dolphin Head Golf Course, and The Quincy Neighborhood Club. She loved living by the water and enjoyed playing bridge.
