Sheila M. O'Keefe
O'KEEFE, Sheila M. 64, of Miami, FL, formerly of Dedham, died on January 5, 2009. Ms. O'Keefe was the second child of Dr. Edward A. and Imelda Cannon O'Keefe, long time Dedham residents. Ms. O'Keefe graduated from Emmanuel College and obtained a Master of Elementary Education degree from the State College at Boston. She served the Department of Defense in the Overseas School Program, teaching in Japan and Germany, returning to the states to teach and retire in Florida. Ms. O'Keefe traveled the world, enjoying historical sites and foreign cultures. Ms O'Keefe is survived by her brother, Dr. Kevin J. O'Keefe of Miami, her sister Maureen O'Keefe Doran of Denver, nieces Daniela O'Keefe, Alison Marshall and Meghan Doran.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty and Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday, January 23 from 6-8 p.m.
