Dorothy Margaret (Duggan) Andersen, 92, of 13 Allyn St., died Monday at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Dorothy was born in Newport, RI on October 13, 1910 the daughter of Francis and Eleanor (Magillicuddy) Duggan.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Nursing School. She enjoyed her nursing career, working in Private Practice and at Newport Hospital.
She was the widow of Gunnar Andersen who died in 1975.
Dorothy is survived by her three sons, William of Mystic with whom she made her home, George of Norwich, and Theodore of Pomfret.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2pm at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, historic downtown Mystic. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic
