WORCESTER-Maureen A. Jones, 73, of Worcester, died Monday, January 19th in the Odd Fellows Home. She leaves her close friends, Ronald and Anita St. Laurent and their family of Worcester; and three nephews, Kevin Wilson of Temecula, CA and Shawn and Michael Wilson of Puyallup, WA; and her cousins, Maureen Hallihan of West Yarmouth and Kit Lane of North Oxford. She was predeceased by a brother, Warren D. Jones, a sister, Beverly A. Wilson and a nephew, Keith W. Wilson.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Warren L. and Mary G. (Kelley) Jones. Maureen was a ward secretary for Worcester City Hospital for many years and had also been a clerk at Dunkin Donuts and Brooks Drug. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and crocheting.
The funeral is Friday, January 23rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
