Olga C. (Moysenko) Jastrem of Haverhill, formerly of Lawrence and beloved wife of the late Eugene Stanley Jastrem, died on Monday, December 29, 2008, at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover. She was 89 years old.
Born in Franklin, New Hampshire, on September 9, 1919, she was the beloved daughter of the late Roman and Mary (Lasak) Moysenko. Mrs. Jastrem was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church of Lawrence for many years. She was also a member of the Auxiliary of the Stopyra Post and the Lawrence Choral Art Society.
She will be very sorely missed by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Eugene Stanley, Jr., and his wife Paula Jastrem of Londonderry, New Hampshire and Paul K. Jastrem of St. Petersburg, Florida, two daughters and one son-in-law; Leslie and her husband Leszek Rompa of Derry, New Hampshire and Cynthia M. Jastrem of Haverhill, one sister; Anne Rogala of Salem, New Hampshire, one brother; Edward Moysenko of Paris, Tennessee, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 9:30 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were held in the Burk-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Friday, January 2, 2009, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
