Obituary

BOYLSTON-Arpenik Azizian, 73, passed away on January 17, 2009. Apernik had a heart attack and three strokes which left her on a respiratory machine for six days. On the final day the medical report showed that Apernik has unrecoverable brain damage. She leaves her husband, Varantsov Azizian; her son, Shavarsh Azizian of Boylston; daughter-in-law, Lusia Azizian; three grandchildren, Arpine Azizian, Hrach Azizian and Hermene Azizian; and so many more family members.
She was born in Yerevan, Armenia and came to America in 1979. Her life was devoted to her family day after day. Arpenik was a woman with many talents and had the personality of an empowering woman. She was a woman who gave her family, friends, and even strangers so much advice and they will never forget her golden words.
Arpenik will be missed in many people’s hearts especially her only son Shavarsh, who she stood beside for her entire life giving him advice about life, business and family. She worked with her son at Shavarsh Jewelers and made thousands of people see her like a mother figure.
She gave her heart, mind and strength to her family and friends. There will not be another mother or grandmother like her. She would not rest for a second to catch her breath, as long as she knew that it would give another person a chance to catch theirs. She will always live in our memories, words and actions. She will be dearly missed.
