Louise M. ‘Chickie’ Johns, 81 of Somerville, died Thursday after a long illness in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Somerville for the past 50 years and formerly of the North End of Boston. She was the daughter of the late Mary (Ronzano) and Leo Greco. Beloved wife of the late John E. Johns. Devoted mother of Norma Scolley, Leonard and Stephen Johns all of Somerville. Also survived by 4 loving grandsons and 1 loving great granddaughter. Sister of Leonard "Chubby" Greco of Everett, Marie Greco of Somerville, Anthony Greco of South Boston, Robert Greco of West Peabody and the late Joseph Greco. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
