WORCESTER
Marion Eknoian, 86, of Worcester died Sat. Jan. 17 in the Lydia Taft House, Uxbridge.
She leaves a sister-in-law, Florence Eknoian of Worcester; a nephew, Peter and his wife LuAnn Eknoian of Shrewsbury and several grand nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Giragos and Elizabeth (Kachajian) Eknoian and graduated from Commerce High School.
Marion worked at Worcester Press Steel and was a Nurse’s Aid at the former Worcester City Hospital.
She was a member of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Trinity Church. She enjoyed walking, traveling and volunteering, especially at the former Hahnemann Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wed. Jan. 21 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Funeral Service at 11 AM in the Armenian Apostolic Holy Trinity Church, 635 Grove St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. A Visiting Hour will be held Wed. Jan. 21, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
