WORCESTER____Loretta E. (Lynch) Anish, 85, formerly of Shrewsbury, died Friday January 16, 2009 in St. Mary Health Care Center, 39 Queen St. Her husband, of 58 years Vity W. Anish died in 2006.
She leaves a son, Wayne A. Anish and his wife Linda S. of Millbury; a brother-in-law, Donald Madsen of Worcester; three nephews and a niece, Michael Madsen, David Madsen, Donald Madsen and Eileen Girard. She was predeceased by two sisters, FLorence Madsen in 1997 and Gertrude Adams in 1989. She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of Edward and Eileen (McKenna) Lynch. She was educated in Worcester schools and was a Shrewsbury resident for many years.
Mrs. Anish was a homemaker, she enjoyed baking and taking care of her home.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 20, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St, with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. John Church,
40 Temple St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday, January 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal St, Watertown, Ma, 02472.
