Deasmond R. Walker, 84, Clarksville, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Montgomery Care & Rehab. The funeral will be held at 11am Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery -West. Visitation will be from 9 am until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. A graveside will be held 1pm Tuesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery -West, with military honors. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 4,1924, in Stewart County, son of Ray Walker and Sadie Guinn Walker. He was a US Army veteran having served during WWII. He was retired from the carpet business.He was a methodist. He is survived by his wife Annie Eleanor Walker, two sons Ricky (Sandra) Walker, Kent (Sandy) Walker one brother O'Neil Walker, four sisters Brooksie Buchanan, Jean Chester, Ann Coble, Loretta Smith, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
