Charles C. English, 70 of Revere, died Friday in the Whidden Memorial Hospital of Everett following a lengthy illness. Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Isabelle (Holt) English. He was a resident of Revere for the past eight years formerly of Medford where he was born and raised. He was a 1950 graduate of the Medford Vocational Technical High School. Mr. English was also a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for over thirty years as an x-ray service technician and a manager with the C.G. R. Medical Corporation. It has been requested that memorial contributions may be made in Charles´ memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701. Funeral services will be private.
Mr. English is survived by two sons, Frederick of Virginia and Paul of Alaska. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Paul and Chelsey English of Alaska and Christopher English of Virginia. In addition to his sons and grandchildren he was the brother of Phillip English of Arizona, Barbara Nulist of Woburn, Rosemary McGinley of Wilmington, Thomas English of Medford, the late Dorothy Tabor and John English.
