NEAS, ANNE MARIE (KASPER) of South Boston, died January 14, 2009 after a long battle with myasthenia gravis and diabetes. Neas was best known for her work in the South Boston Action Center and her weekly column in the South Boston Tribune during the 70's.
Beloved wife of the late John H. Neas Jr. Devoted mother of Linda Rhinehart Neas, J. Barry, Matthew and the late Timothy Neas. Dear sister of Deloris (Kasper) Rygiel of Arlington; Denis Kasper of Brockton; Mary (Kasper) Cohane of Wolliston; and the late Francis Kasper of Reading. Also lovingly survived by 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Casper Funeral Home at 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston. Memorial service to be announced at a later date. Interment services are private.
