Kay Bolick French, 68, of Summerville, widow of Jack LeRoy French, died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral Service and burial will be held Monday, January 19, 2009 in Conover, NC. Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of SC, PO Box 212634, Columbia, SC 29221.
Kay was born July 10, 1940 in Conover, NC, daughter of the late John Alvin Bolick and Catherine Cassels Bolick. She graduated from Newton-Conover High School and attended Appalachian State University and Trident Technical College. She was a volunteer at Middleton Plantation and loved wildlife preservation. She was a medical records specialist with American Home Patients. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
