Methuen, MA- Sherri-Lynne M. “Shea” (Habib), 47, O’Riordan of Methuen, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born in Winnemucca, Nevada on July 14, 1961, she was the adored daughter of Ronald and Lorraine (Hassy) Habib, and grew up in Salem, New Hampshire.
Sherri was the beloved wife of the late Patrick O’Riordan. She is survived by her daughter Hayley O’Riordan of Methuen, MA, parents Ronald and Lorraine Habib of Salem, NH, brothers David Habib and his wife Kimberly of Salem, NH and brother Michael Habib and his wife Susan of Derry, NH, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sherri was a certified travel consultant who earned her certification from Crimson Travel. Sherri also earned an associate’s degree in early childhood education from Northern Essex Community College. She was employed at TZell New England at the time of her death.
Sherri loved traveling and was very creative in the kitchen with both food and drink. Sherri was a very generous soul and was loved by all that knew her. She was a giving person, who never turned her back on the needs of others. Sherri was known for her deep love of children and was second mom to many of her daughter’s friends.
Her family would like to extend their deepest appreciation and thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital for the kind and attentive care shown to Sherri.
She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday morning at 10:30 in Saint Monica’s Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, MA.
