Jeannette A. Turcotte 91, formerly of East School St. died Monday in The Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Donat Turcotte. Mrs. Turcotte was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Edward and Delia (Coutu) Bachand. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She also worked as a clerk at the former Nyanza Department Store for ten years. Mrs. Turcotte was a member of the Red Hat Society, and a former member of the St. Germain Manor Club.
She is survived by a son Roger Morin Sr. of Slatersville, a daughter Diane Lawless of Somerset, MA, a sister Aldea Morin of Woonsocket, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon in St. John’s Church, Church St. in Slatersville, RI. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
