Lora A. (Fish) Fresina, 71, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Braemoor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. She was the wife of John P. Fresina. Born in Brockton, she raised there and was a graduate of Brockton Schools. A homemaker, Mrs. Fresina was a resident of Stoughton for over 45 years. In her later years, she worked as a secretary for Dr. Janet Leaver. In her free time, she enjoyed flower arranging, painting, art and collecting bells.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: John P. Fresina Jr. and Lisa Fresina both of Brockton, Faith Kaplan-Wright of FL and Vittoria McDonough of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of 5 and was predeceased by her grandson David Kaplan. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27), Stoughton on Thursday, January 15, at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 5-7 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Stroke Assn, 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Burial will be private.
