Beloved wife of Michael C. Regan. Devoted mother of Harrison J. Regan of Wayland. Step-mother of Sara L. Levine and Emily J. Foley, both of Quincy. Cherished daughter of Margaret Young of Palm City, FL, and the late Robert E. Young. Loving sister of Patricia A. Herdman of Scottsdale, AZ, and Robert E. Young, Jr. of Stuart, FL. Also, survived by five grandsons, four nephews and two nieces.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service in First Parish Church of Weston, 349 Boston Post Rd., Weston, on Thursday, May 22 at 11:00 AM.
A reception will follow for family and friends at Brae Burn Country Club in Newton.
Interment in Newton Cemetery is private.

Linda Young Regan, a former sales and Marketing Executive with IBM and other computer companies, died May 16 at her home in Wayland after battling ovarian cancer for four years. She was 59.
Born in Key West, FL, she attended British Schools in Geneva, Switzerland and Calcutta, India prior to graduating from high school in Connecticut. A graduate of Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA, her first position was that of a French Teacher.
After a brief teaching career, she joined IBM as a programmerduring a distinguished sixteen year career with IBM. She becameone of the first woman sales executives in the 1970’s, specializing in National Account Sales. Similar positions followed with AT&T Information Systems and the Codex Division of Motorola Corporation.
In 1991 she retired to become a full-time mother to her son, Harrison. During these years she was a board member of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and active on various committees at Brae Burn Country Club and the Fessenden School.
