Beatrice “Peppi” Kanter of Revere died on January 13, 2009 at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Morris Kanter.
Beatrice was born in Revere and has been a lifelong resident. She attended the Revere schools and graduated from Revere High School Class of 1935. Beatrice was a member of the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary and a Past President of the Sisterhood at Congregation Tifereth Israel of Revere. Beatrice loved the opera and knitting and was described as a great cook. Beatrice was the devoted mother of Sandra Kanter, Robert Kanter and Arnold Kanter and his wife Margery. She was the loving grandmother of Joshua, Marisa, and Vanessa.
Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA on January 14 at 1:45 PM. Memorial observance at the Jack Satter House, 420 Revere Beach Blvd., Revere, MA 02151 on Wednesday from 3:30 to 8:00 PM.
