Leroy Trotter, 86, Clarksville, died Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. David Fambrough officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 9, 1922 in Clarksville, TN son of the late Boyd Trotter and Annie Mae Dean Trotter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Rye Trotter. He was a retired mechanic for the city of Laton, OK. Survivors include three sons, John Carroll Trotter, Pawhuska, OK; Ronald Trotter, Clarksville; and Leroy "Billy" Trotter, Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Polly Bryant, Clarksville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
