GLOUCESTER: Paul L. Anderson, 62, died December 24, 2008 at the Beverly Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Gloucester on May 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Frank W. and Edith L. (Snelson) Anderson. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester and a graduate of the Gloucester High School class of 1966.
Paul was employed for many years as the frozen food manager at Stop & Shop. He enjoyed being outdoors, watching wildlife, hunting, fishing and archery in his youth. He was also an experienced horseback rider, weight lifter and at one time had racing pigeons.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Frank W. Anderson, Jr. and Sharon F. (Nasse) Anderson of Montgomery, AL, and dear friends including, Mary Reynolds and Charis Gerbino.
His funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the Beechbrook Cemetery, West Gloucester. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
