Ferris, Geraldine B. (O’Rourke), of Green Harbor, Marshfield, Jan. 8, at the age of 90, beloved wife of the late James G. Ferris; dear mother of Mary Ann Ferris of Green Harbor and James G. Ferris, Jr. of Walpole, loving grandmother of Daniel, Jill, James W., and Stephen. Sister of Catherine Walsh of Bellingham and the late Frank, Joseph, and Vincent O’Rourke and late Peg Goss and Madeline Kelly. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Geraldine was born in Boston, graduated from Mission Church High School in Roxbury and St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing. She was a First Lt. in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during WW11. Geraldine was a member of the 60+ Club of Marshfield and the Catholic Daughters.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., Rte. l39, Marshfield on Monday, Jan. l2 at l0 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 11 a.m.
Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 6 p.m.
Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
