Tedesco, Mary L. (nee) Porsio age 94 of Emerson formerly of Union City died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Alfred. Loving daughter of the late Rosina and Gaetano Porsio. Devoted mother of Lawrence Tedesco and his wife Carolyn, and Joyce Milano and her husband Anthony. Loving grandmother of Lynelle (Nelson), Stephanie, Tracey (Ronald), Jenna, and Krista. Cherished great-grandmother of Melissa, Ryan, Dylan, and Alexander. Dear sister of Grace Bitritto and the late Anthony Porsio, Dorothy Monti, and Pasquale Porsio. Mary was an examiner in the embroidery business in Union City for many years. She was also a member of the Emerson Seniors Club as well as a parishioner at the Church of the Assumption in Emerson. Funeral service Saturday 9AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to the Church of the Assumption for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee. Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday 7-9PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
