WILLIAM C.C. "BILL" JOHNSTON, 60, formerly of Hingham and Marblehead, died suddenly of heart failure in Salinas, CA. He was the son of the late Marius and Helen Johnston of Hingham. Bill was a graduate of Derby Academy, Middlesex School and Tufts University. He leaves his son, Todd Johnston of Cambridge and his daughter, Brittany Johnston of Los Angeles; also his sister, Anne Elwell Reardon of Hingham and his brother, Marius Johnston of Plymouth, CA; 3 nieces, Sarah Markert of Delray Beach FL, Nancy Michalowski of Cohasset; and a nephew, David Elwell of Cohasset as well as 10 grandnieces and grandnephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 12th at 12 Noon at St. Paul's Church, 147 North St., Hingham Square.
