Salvatore Ossino, 85 of Medford, died Saturday after a long illness.
Born in Sicily, he lived in Medford since 1969 and was the son of the late Concetta (Guercio) and Filadelfo Ossino. Salvatore worked as a Machinist, at Globe, Nickel and Platinum of Malden for 14 years and retired in 1983. Beloved husband of Vincenza (Ciciulla) Ossino. Devoted father of Filadelfo Ossino and his wife Laura, Concetta Pascucci and her husband Giovanni all of Medford. Loving grandfather of Michael Salvatore, Filadelfo L. and Christina Ossino, Giuseppe and Salvatore Pascucci. Brother of Nunziatina and Lucietta Ossino both of Italy and the late Giuseppe Ossino. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
