Wanda Wilson Evans, 80, Clarksville, died Saturday, January 3, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Madison Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Lenoir H. Culbertson and Rev. Brian Marcoulier officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Monday at the church. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born January 16, 1928 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Issac Tom Wilson and Beulah Vann Wilson. She was a retired nurse. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Willard Blue Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women's Rebekah Group. Survivors include her husband, B. Joe Evans, three sons, Dr. William E. Evans (Mary Relling), Memphis, TN.; Michael J. Evans (Mary Michael), Clarksville; and Vann Evans, Clarksville; a brother, Joe W. Wilson (Frenesi), Florida; five grandchildren, Leslie Evans Cherry, Kelli Evans McDonald, Gina Evans Frazier, Michael Wilson Evans, and Ashley Brooke Evans; and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Wilson Evans, Josh Snow, Jeremy Cherry, Robert Rousch, Tony Olivis,Bob Tribble, and Landon Brake. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Willard Blue Sunday School Class.
