As a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, she cared and nurtured for her entire family, always looking after their well being. She often enjoyed the warm weather, island culture and entertainment on her frequent visits to the Caribbean island of Curacao - her home away from home. Some of her other hobbies and interests included interior decorating, painting and gardening. Her love of tole painting afforded her an outlet for relaxation and provided many beautiful gifts for her family and friends.
