WORCESTER__Mary A. Ziemba, 95, of Worcester, died Monday, December 29, 2008 in Saint Francis Home, 101 Plantation St.
She leaves nieces and nephews, Vincent Pusateri of Holden; Virginia Wright of Shrewsbury; Paul Kroll of Sterling; Rita Juges of Grafton; Alice George and Theodore Kroll, both of Worcester and others, as well as, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Mary was born in Worcester, a daughter of Peter S. and Sophie M. (Mendys) Ziemba and lived here all her life.
Ms. Ziemba was an assembler for many years at American Steel & Wire Division of US Steel Co., before retiring. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She was a life long member and daily communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and was a member of its Woman’s Guild and Sodality. Throughout her life Mary was devoted to her faith and her family.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
