METHUEN – Rose Franciosa age 84 died peacefully Sunday December 28, 2008 at her home in Methuen, MA.
Born on January 30, 1924 in Lawrence, MA she was the daughter of Peter and Jennie (Iannalfo) Grossi. She was educated in Methuen Schools. Rose was a homemaker and devoted wife to Pasquale for 63 years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother she enjoyed cooking traditional Italian meals for her family and friends especially during the holidays. Her family was most important to her but Rose always put the needs of others before herself.
She leaves her husband Pasquale A. “Pat” Franciosa of Methuen, MA,
3 children Anthony Franciosa of Methuen, MA, Linda M. Fiorentini and her husband Paul also of Methuen and Stephen Franciosa and his wife Pamela of west Newbury, MA,
1 brother Alfred Grossi and his wife Mary of Methuen, MA.
5 grandchildren Mark and David Fiorentini, Joseph, Christopher and Philip Franciosa.
Several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:00a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish/Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Mausoleum also in Lawrence, MA.
