Carol (Mroz) Engel, age 68 of Portsmouth, RI. Passed away at home December 28, 2008. She was the widow of Jimmy Engel. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Geary) Mroz. Before retiring, she was a Seamstress at C&S Sportswear.
She is survived by 1 Daughter: Cheryl Engel of Tiverton, RI. 1 Sister: Jeanne Holen of Fall River. 6 Grandchildren: Russell Engel, Jenna De Mello, Brittanny Engel, Taylor Gavin, Corrie Albergaria, & Hailee Gavin. 3 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Jimmy Engel II, and Shirley Leonardo. She was sister of the late Stanley, Frank, Leonard, & Raymond Mroz, Dorethia Purdy, & Pauline Morris.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. FRIDAY at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Rosary Church 120 Beatie St. Fall River, MA at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. There Are No Separate Calling Hours.
