Obituary

FALL RIVER … Pauline V. (Baraby) French DeSouza Turner, 75, of Fall River died Friday December 26, 2008 surrounded by family after a brief illness. She was the widow of Nicholas French, Aderito DeSouza, and William B. Turner.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.
She was a machine operator at the former Trina’s Manufacturing and was the owner and operator of Turner Home Health Care for Seniors in Fall River.
Mrs. Turner was a member of the V.F.W. Tiverton Post, a member of the Disabilities Act, and Cerebral Palsy Association.
Survivors include 3 sons: Nicholas French of Fitchburg, Paul French and his wife Cheryl of Fall River, Allen French and his wife Pam of Houma, LA, 2 daughters: Alberta French of East Freetown and Cheryl DeSouza Guilmette and her husband Joseph of Fall River, 2 sisters: Barbara Merrill of CT and Elizabeth Ramos Machado of Fall River, 5 grandsons, 2 great granddaughters, 2 great grandsons, several nieces, nephews, and aunts. She was the sister of the late Butch Baraby and Florence Ouellette. Her extended family includes: Aderito DeSouza, Jr, of Fall river, Gail DeSouza of Fall River, Roberta Ferreza of AZ, Joanne Bourgoise of Fall River, Ginger Roias of Providence, William B. Turner of Westport, Robert Turner of New Bedford, Wayne Turner and his wife Donna of Swansea, and Joyce Turner of New Bedford, 15 Extended Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 9AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNAREL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, 529 Eastern Ave., Fall River. Calling hours Sunday 5 – 8 PM.
