Mrs. Jeannette Rose Isaacson, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening December 22, 2008 surrounded by her family at the home she loved in Island Pond, VT. She was born in Berlin, NH on May 12, 1939 the daughter of Albert and Marie (Maurais) Dube and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1957 and was a member of Lamb’s Chapel. Jeannette loved nature and the four seasons. Her favorite season was Fall. After spending winters in Florida she was always anxious to get back to her home on Island Pond and to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, knitting and cruising on the pond in her pontoon boat. She was the most caring, generous and compassionate person one could meet. She will be deeply missed by all that she so generously shared her life with.
Members of the family include 3 sons Denis Poulin and wife Tammy of Texas, Kenneth Poulin of Berlin, NH and Brian Poulin and wife Kim of Berlin, NH; 2 daughters Diane Duchesne and husband Phil of Berlin, NH and Michele Lamphere and husband George of Milan, NH; 13 grandchildren Logan Duchesne, Nathan Poulin, Justin Poulin, Aaron Poulin, Alex Poulin, Christopher Lamphere, Melissa Gallant, Kimberly Gallant, Jennah Duchesne, Natalie Poulin, Ashley Poulin and Amber Poulin; her mother Marie Dupuis of Berlin, NH; her sister Claire Rainville and husband Maurice of Gorham, NH; her brother Richard Dube and wife Cleo of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her beloved companion Jean Marc Poulin. She was predeceased by her husband Eli Isaacson, her father Albert Dube and a brother Rene Dube.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 27, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church with Pastors David and Linda Canter officiating. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday afternoon and evening from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to the American Cancer Society or to a Charity of one’s Choice in her memory.
