Obituary

CLEARWATER FLORIDA____Henry P. "Casey" Kasabula of Bayview Gardens, Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Worcester and Spencer died Monday April 21st in Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater.

He is survived by his wife of ten years Barbara June (Barrett) Kasabula. His first wife of thirty years Cecile (Lambert) Kasabula died in 1982. He also leaves a stepson William F Pedersen of Ontario Canada, and a step daughter Susan C Menzies of New York City, a brother Joseph Kasabula of Sutton two sisters Albina M Zukowski of Charlton and Barbara Novak of Englewood Ohio and forty nephews and nieces. Four other sisters Agnes Zinkus, Jane Budrejko, Anna Roberts and Theresa Gryncewicz predeceased him.Mr. Kasabula was born in Worcester a son of Peter and Aleksandra (Sokol) Kasabula.

He was a graduate of Worcester Boy's Trade High School and later served in the Navy from 1944 to 1947. He served on the LST #357 and took part in the Normandy Invasion and in Operation "Tiger".

Mr. Kasabula worked as a storekeeper at Westborough State Hospital and retired in 1981.

He was active for many years in veterans organizations and was a Past State Commander of The Polish American Veterans of Mass. 1972-1973. He was a member of The Polish American Veterans of World War II ,of Worcester and Southbridge. American Legion Post 8 of Winter Haven Florida. The VFW in Spencer and DAV of Worcester.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday May 7 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.Memorial Contributions may be made to: Give Kids The World, 210 South Bass Road Kissimmee Florida 34746.
