Ms. Suzette Trahan, 50, passed away Saturday December 20th at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
She was born February 5, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York, survived by her parents, Joseph and Ruth (Butwillus) Trahan.
Suzette was raised at in early age in Brooklyn, New York and later moved with her family to Lowell. She received her early education through the Lowell schools, graduating from St. Joseph Catholic High School.
Suzette was a nurse practitioner having worked at the former St Joseph Hospital and most recently for the past fifteen years at Lowell General Hospital in the Pain Center.
She was an avid gardener, an outdoors person, and a lover of nature.
She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Ruth Trahan of Lowell; two brothers, Lawrence Trahan and his wife Carol of Hampstead, N.H.; Gerald Trahan of Litchfield, N.H.; two sisters, Laurette Trahan of Boston, Ma., and Juliette Trahan of Tyngsboro; a niece, Dawn Raposa, two nephews, Dana Trahan and Bradford Trahan.
Relatives and friends will be received at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm. Her funeral will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday with a funeral prayer service at 11am. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
