Barbara (Stitt) Aiello, 67, of Fairhaven died peacefully at home on Tuesday December 16, 2008 with her brother and loved ones by her side.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Ralph I. and Ruth A. (Durfee) Stitt, she lived in Mattapoisett most of her life.
Barbara was formerly employed as a sales agent for Dawson Real Estate. She had also been the former proprietor of Video Visions of Mattapoisett.
She loved gardening, traveling, and spending time with her beloved cats and her brother. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida during in the winter months.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Aiello of Fairhaven and Christopher Aiello of Key West, FL; her twin brother, Richard Stitt of Fairhaven; and a sister, Cynthia Waite of Mattapoisett.
Her family will receive visitors on Saturday from 1-3 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett.
