Peter Albert Kane Sr., of Plymouth, passed away on December 14th at Sunrise Assisted Living at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen (McNeil) and is survived by his children Peter A. Kane Jr of Plymouth and Kathleen (Kane) Lamb and her husband John of Lighthouse Point, FL. He also leaves his grandchildren Heather (Lamb) Pezzone and her husband David, Holli Lamb, Peter Kane III, John Lamb Jr, Sean Kane and Jennifer Kane. He also leaves his 2 great grandchildren Ryan Pezzone and Dominic Kane. Peter worked as a safety officer at Boston Edison for 36 years, retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Colonel after 40 years as a pilot and also was a member of the U.S Army Combat Engineers. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40 in Plymouth, the Cold Spring Club, the Quiet Bird Mens Club, the Knights of Columbus and the Elks. He also volunteered delivering for Meals on Wheels and served on the Plymouth Planning Board. He also towed gliders at the Plymouth Airport. A funeral mass will be held on Friday December 19th at St. Peter’s Church at 10 AM followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday December 18th.
