Marguerite Willis Arnold, 84, of Cumming, formerly of Tifton, died Saturday, December 13, 2008, at the Cumming Nursing Center in Cumming. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 15, 2008, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Arnold was the daughter of Arthur Thomas Willis and Ora S. Willis, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Needham Arnold. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Cumming and retired from the Big Apple Food Chain in 1970. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was a devoted mother, wife and care-giver.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by two sons, Gary Arnold of Cumming and Ricky Arnold of Cumming; one daughter, Gail Arnold Winge of Statesboro; one brother, Arthur Namon Willis and his wife, Jolene Willis, of Tifton; nine grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
