Anthony J. "Jr." Zambella of Dedham, passed away December 6, 2008 at the age of 82 following a brief illness.
Born in Brookline, MA in 1926, Anthony served in both the US Marine Corps and US Army during World War II. A skilled photographer, Tony owned and operated Anthony's Studios, located in both Brookline and Dedham. He served as the personal photographer of Boston's Mayor Collins in the 1960's, and also worked for Harvard University's Fogg Art Museum and Carpenter Center.
Tony is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Irene (Lyle), as well as his son Anthony J. Zambella and his wife Fatima of Billerica, his daughter Lisa Tuccelli and her husband George of Marlboro, step-grandsons Mark and Paul Assuncao, and several nieces and nephews. Tony was the brother of the late John and Theodore Zambella, Mary Capwell, and Leonilda Scavitto.
Tony's Memorial Service was held Tuesday December 9, 2008 at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. West Roxbury . Final services will be private.
