EVERETT “CHICK” EMBRY, 82, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
He was retired from Phillip Morris Co., and served in the U. S. Navy in WW II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Nerva Embry, his wife of 57 years, Irah K. Embry, a brother, Shurl Embry and sister, Shelby Jean Swift.
He is survived by four sisters, Virginia Akers, Irene Pike (Robert), Marcella Collins and Ruth Ann Johnson (David); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon – 8 p.m. Friday.
