Beloved wife of John C. "Jack" Cotter and the late Jeremiah F. Mulcahy. Loving mother of Jeremiah F. Mulcahy of Quincy, Richard F. Mulcahy of Hanover, and Donna Sullivan Mock of Quincy. Sister of the late Jean Morgan and MaryLou McGrath. Sister-in-law of Sister Katrina Mulcahy, CSJ, of Framingham. Aunt of David McGrath of Quincy.
Also survived by ten grandchildren, Jack's daughters: Linda Burke, Patricia Scarbo, Jane Davis, Karen Argus, Diane Finegan and their fourteen children.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9:00 AM.
Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday 2- 4 and 6- 9 PM.
Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Quincy.
A graduate of Carney Hospital School of Nursing, she worked in the Cardiac Care Unit. After she retired officially from the Carney she worked there on a per diem basis. Joan wintered in Florida and spent her summers on the Cape in Dennisport. She loved the beach and gardening. She loved to bake and was known for her chocolate chip cookies.
