Mary E. Nugent (NEE O'Brien) 82, a retired nurse who supervised the emergency room at Mercy Hospital for many years died Sunday, December 7 from complications related to breast cancer at Stella Maris Hospice.
She was the wife for 49 years of the late James L. Nugent and is survived by her six children, James Nugent of Towson, MD; Patrick Nugent of Baltimore, MD; Ann Flanigan of Bowie, MD; Katherine Wrightson of Wittman, MD; Dennis Nugent of Rockville, MD and Kevin Nugent of Wilton, CT. She is the loving grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 3.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 9, from 7 to 9 P.M. and Wednesday, December 10 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.. All are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 11, in The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at 11 A.M. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
