Hannah J. Knight, 84, who departed this life on Monday, December 8, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 3 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow in Boone Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery,
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o’clock Tuesday evening.

Hannah was born October 27, 1924 in Summerville, the daughter of the late Claude Cecil Knight and Lottie Myers Knight. She was a life time resident of the Knightsville Community and life time member of the Knightsville United Methodist Church where she was actively involved in the United Methodist Women’s Society. She loved children and taught Sunday school to them for over 60 years. She graduated from Summerville High School and worked at the Blossom Shop in Summerville. She also wrote the Knightsville News for “The Scene” for many years. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Surviving are many cousins, friends, her loving care giver: Dannielle Gatch (Robert) and children: Hannah and Colby Gatch. A special thank you to the Odyssey Hospice Care for their loving care and help.
