Danvers, MA –Margaret (Morrissey)Viel, 92, died Saturday December 6, 2008 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House.
Mrs. Viel was born and educated in Lawrence to John and Mary (Morrissey) Morrissey. Margaret attended St. Laurence O’Toole grammar school and was a graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in Lawrence. Margaret worked for fifteen years as a Hostess at the Little Red School House Restaurant in North Andover, at the IRS for four years and then at The Bon Secours Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Monica’s Church and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
The widow of Ernest Viel, Margaret is survived by her children, William Corey of Salem NH, and Margaret Harden of Salem, MA, as well as 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and Friends are invited to call Wednesday morning, December 10 from 7:45-8:45 with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9 am, at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen and then burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
