Feeney, Dorothy A. (Brown) Feeney of Needham, formerly of Hyde Park died on Sunday, December7, 2008 at Mary Ann Morse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Natick. She was 87 years old. Mrs. Feeney sold Avon products for many years. She was an expert seamstress and a champion bocce player. Mrs. Feeney was an avid bowler and enjoyed knitting and puzzles. The beloved wife of the late Bernard James Feeney, she was the loving mother of Elizabeth Smith of Ocala, FL, Paul Feeney of Boston, Patricia Evans of Wellesley, Kathleen Lemay of North Smithfield RI and Sheila Beninati of Rowley, MA. Sister of the late Marjorie Nelson, Edward Brown, Marguerite McKenzie, Ann Sevieri, and John Brown. Dear grandmother of Jane and Melissa DePalma, step grandmother of Matthew Smith and Melissa Fischer, grandmother of Sarah and Jonathan Evans, Julie and Eric Lemay, Brenden and Samantha Beninati. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Wed Dec 10th at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 Pm. Interment services will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Wed at 1:30 PM.
