Eugene L. Natina, 96, of Derry, NH and formerly of Boynton Beach and West Palm Beach, Fl., passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry. Born in Jersey City, NJ, on July 23, 1912, he was a son of the late Joseph Natina, Sr. and Louise (Komadowski) Natina. Mr. Natina had a deep devotion to his daughter and loved his grandchildren. He was kind and generous to his family and his friends. Mr. Natina was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Elks Club in NJ, a former officer of Colgate Credit Union in Clark, NJ and an avid bowler.
He is survived by his daughter, Eunice R. Guyre, two grandchildren, Michael E. Guyre, and Cheryl A. Guyre; and two great grandchildren, Michael R. Guyre and Kelcie J. Guyre. He is also survived by his sister, Jennie Lapinski and her husband Ted as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Natina was predeceased by his wife, Jean J. Natina, three brothers and two sisters, Anthony, Edward and Joseph Natina, Jr., Blanche Gorry and Mary Kapp. He was also predeceased by his grandson, Robert F. Guyre III.
After cremation a memorial service will be held in the spring in Jersey City, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Resident Fund, 8 Peabody Rd., Derry, NH 03038. Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is in charge of arrangements.
