METHUEN – Rose M. Naroian age 85 died Tuesday December 2, 2008 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA.
Born in Lawrence on December 18, 1922, daughter to Kachadoor and Josephine (Boucher) Naroian. She attended Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She worked in the Pacific Mills, Western Electric and retired from Lucent Technologies in North Andover.
According to Rose’s family one of the most important aspects in her life was, she was a Sunday school superintendent at the Holy Cross Armenian Church in Lawrence with an attendance of 125 children. Rose valued her church, her loving family and many friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Eva Naroian of Methuen, with whom she lived, Mary Sarkisian of Salem, MA and Eleanor Avedisian and her husband Richard of Methuen, MA.
Brothers John Naroian of Lawrence, MA, Archie Naroian and his wife Melanie also of Lawrence and Michael Naroian and his wife Sona of Methuen, MA.
Several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews.
Rose was predeceased by her sister Margaret and brothers Harry and Peter.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers the family request the memorials be made to the Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe P.O. Box 8069 Ward Hill, MA 01835. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00a.m. at Saint Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
