In Loving memory of Viola M. Richard Kimball
Viola peacefully passed away early Wednesday December 3rd, 2008 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London.
She is survived by her son Larry, daughter Lorna, her brothers Peter and John, and sister, Jessie. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Viola always had a funny story or joke for stranger or friend. It was her nature to laugh and share that laughter. She also loved this time of year. Christmas was always a very special time for her. She'll live in our memories and stay in our hearts.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Monday from 5-7pm. A service will be held on Tuesday at 10am at the funeral home with burial following at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Pawcatuck.
In keeping with Viola’s love of the holidays, her family requests that in lieu of cut flowers, poinsettias or other Christmas plants be sent so that they may be donated to Mary Elizabeth Nursing Center following her service.
